Job Title: IT Infrastructure Program Manager (Pharma)
Locations: San Francisco, CA (remote), some travel will be needed
Duration: 12-18+ months contract (C2C, 1099, or W-2)
*Previous Biotech / Pharma Experience needed with SharePoint Implementation experience.
Overview: We are seeking a technical IT Program Manager to lead program and project management across the IT Operations Team. The PM will be responsible for leading the implementation and enhancement of operational systems (SharePoint, AWS, Freshservice, etc.) and supporting the infrastructure needs of new office and laboratory sites. Working with the Director, IT Operations, the PM will define, drive and track, several projects that involve our managed service providers, IT Applications, Information Security, Research IT, Facilities, and engineers in IT Operations. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes leading the implementation and enhancements of SaaS applications, administration of network equipment, server equipment, as well as supporting new offices and excellent project and vendor management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage IT Operations and Infrastructure projects focused on SharePoint, AWS and other SaaS applications.
- Lead planning, acquisition deployment, and testing of infrastructure and related services for office and lab spaces, including server rooms, networking, and conference room setups (i.e., Zoom Rooms).
- Work with project stakeholders to develop project charters which include goals, scope, schedule, budget, etc.
- Responsible for assembling and on-boarding the project stakeholders to projects. Ensuring responsibilities of resources are communicated and understood.
- Facilitates the definition of project milestones, tasks, resource requirements.
- Resolves or assists in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas by completing root cause analysis and developing recommendations.
- Complete business process analysis and discover workshop to gathering requirements as needed
- Measures and reports on project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques to help ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Creates and maintains project documentation and coordinates the completion of project deliverables.
- Manages risks, issues, and changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Reports and escalates to the PMO as needed and manages status update meetings with project team members.
EXPERIENCE:
- BS/BA or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and management and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in core infrastructure systems (SharePoint, AWS Freshservice, etc.) and supporting IT infrastructure for offices.
- Previous experience in Biotech/Pharma is highly preferred.
- Experience in managing all aspects of infrastructure projects, including tracking milestones, tasks and timelines, reporting progress, and managing risks.
- Strong understanding of different Project Management principles and methodologies, proficiency with PM tools with at least one Enterprise PM software tool (Smartsheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Self-starter with strong task management and communication skills, able to operate effectively in a dynamic, growing, and fast-paced environment.
- Experience in systems administration of core infrastructure services (Cisco and Meraki switches, Domain Controllers, DNS, data security, and monitoring) preferred
- PMP Certification a huge plus
