Sr. IT Project Manager – SharePoint/Pharma
Contract role – 12+ months
Location: San Mateo, CA 94404
Our pharma client is seeking an Sr. IT Project Manager with previous experience managing SharePoint projects.
Skills Required:- 8+ years of strong Project Management skills and experience (PMP a plus but not mandatory)
- Absolute must have previous Pharma/Biotech experience ***
- GxP experience is required
- Must have experience with SharePoint applications
- Prior experience with Veeva is a plus.
- Ability to manage all aspects of a large, complex IT project portfolio with minimal direction including project planning, scope management, project execution, quality management and project cost management.
- Proven track record as an IT Project Manager in successful project delivery
- Responsible for providing overall leadership for the project; accountable for deliverables
- Interacts regularly with key business stakeholders, leaders and executives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with client technical management; ensures ongoing communication of progress against program objectives
- Experience with change control processes, change and incident management, and applications lifecycle management
- Identify functional requirements and performance specification
- Develop schedules, milestones, resource requirements and staffing plans to achieve deliverables
- Monitor progress, recognize and help resolve technical problems
- Provide regular status reports and briefings
- Able to mentor and lead others through the use of project management best practices
- Experienced/knowledge in CSV (Computer Systems Validation)
- Knowledgeable in Part 11/Annex 11 and electronic GMP documentation controls
- Demonstrated experience managing projects within a defined SDLC process.
- Ability to provide solid estimates on work effort and ability to meet strict timelines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Must have excellent judgment and strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid Microsoft Project Skills
- Able to mentor and lead others through the use of project management best practices
