Windows 10 Upgrade / Desktop Support (phone/desktop support)

Contract roles (2), 4-6 months in duration

Location: Redwood City, CA (Local candidates only, please)

Pay rate is $26-32 per hour

We are currently looking for two PC/Desktop Technicians for a Windows 10 Migration project to upgrade 350 laptops and desktop computers.

Seeking customer service oriented desktop technicians to assist in the migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and provide post-migration support.
Local candidates strongly preferred.

  • 2-3 Years IT Support Tier-1 (Phone Support) and Tier-2 (Desktop Support) experience within an enterprise environment
  • Must be willing to answer phones and provide remote support
  • Able to provide IT Desktop Support to all levels of an organization; up to and including C-level
  • Experience using a Ticketing System (i.e., OSticket, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Experience Supporting 400 or more users (on-site and remote users)
  • Excellent with Windows 10 / O365 / Exchange
  • Experience Supporting iPads / Tablets / Laptops / Desktops / Mobile Phones
  • Experience with Managing Accounts (AD, VoIP Phones, Mobile Device Management, etc.)
  • Experience imaging and deploying laptops
  • Excellent Communication (written and verbal)
  • Excellent Customer Support (phone and in-person)
  • Availability for after-hours support rotation
